An impressive sight taken from London Tower.
Familiar, magnificent and bloody cold to walk across in November.
All these people were attending World Travel Market. This huge tourism exhibition attracted thousands and thousands of people from all over the world.
Sometimes, you had to ask the question, "What on earth are we doing?"
A feeling of business and busy-ness - both real and artificial.
For a number of reasons, the timing wasn't great for this trip to London. From the back of ExCell, these planes taking off and flying away had a very strong appeal.
Meeting up with Carl Doherty was very welcome. Thank you, Carl. He suggested going to see Richard Hawley at Koko in Camden.
Koko's is a great venue. Apparently, Madonna had played a secret gig here the night before.
Formerly of Longpigs, Richard played a pretty good gig.
Jarvis Cocker was there and seemed to enjoy it.
The Underground is amazingly atmospheric sometimes. Especially when listening to a personal stereo.
It was great to relax in this sleepy carriage and watch the street lights of the south east fly by.
