How to get involved
As already stated, My DDR T-Shirt is funded by Ian Hawkins/Hawkinsian Productions. It has received no external funding or financial help of any kind. Essentially, this means that the film has been made for peanuts - probably less that £1000/$2000.
Making the film would've been impossible without help - for free. Now that it's finished, we need just as much help to get My DDR T-Shirt seen by as many people as possible. Can you help? Is there anything you can do that might benefit the My DDR project? If you think so, simply send us an email with your suggestions. They're all welcome (as long as they are constructive). In the meantime, here are a few suggestions...
Organise a screening
We're looking to screen My DDR T-Shirt anywhere we can. If you know, own
or run a local cinema, café bar, pub, community centre, theatre or any kind
of public space, maybe you'd like to organise a screening? We'll supply
everything you need - we'll provide a free screening DVD, we'll design dedicated
posters, help promote the event online and if you're close enough, we'll
even turn up to present it.
We'll do all this for free, but if you make any money, maybe we can agree
a percentage of the takings?

Translation
My DDR T-Shirt is about 95% spoken English. There are a couple of German
speaking interviews that have English subtitles. Eventually, we'd like to
produce versions that are subtitled in as many different languages as possible.
If we provide you with the files, can you translate into a different language?

Distribution
My DDR T-Shirt was never designed to make money, however, some things cost
money. To help with this we'd like to try selling some DVDs. Do you have
a shop, café or any other kind of suitable retail outlet? Or do you know
of one? We'll happily supply DVDs to you and we can agree terms to suit.
